Plant Production Manager (PRECAST CONCRETE)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:




  • Manage the operation of the plant. Administer budget. Adhere to production schedules. Schedule manpower. Adjust for manpower shortages or absences. Work daily with HR in all functions, recruiting, training, Safety, Quality Control, Logistics, Dispatcher, Finance, etc. Coordinate day to day activities of Mold Work for Steel Fabrication, Carpentry, Weld Shop, Caging, Bend Shop, Purchasing and Material Handling.


  • Hands on type of leader, capable of managing all Operations and Production aspects of the facility


  • He/she will participate actively in the life-cycle of a project, providing support and advice and making necessary corrections in specific areas of the project to ensure there are no lapses on the job.


  • Manage staff who follow specifications outlined in proposed projects. Fabricate a prototype or working model. Supervise some aspects of the manufacturing process and interact with engineering function. Develop SOPs for process training to simplify work and reduce risk (safety).



Skills and Qualifications




  • 4 Year degree is preferred but 5 years of work experience in a similar job setting is required.


  • Exception communication skills orally and written


  • Creativity and analytical skills


  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner


  • Employee management skills


  • Flexibility


  • Complex Problem Solving


  • Computer skills ( fluent and competent)


  • Fluent in Spanish a plus



Education:




  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
