Business Assistant

Position Summary
Bridgestone's Off Road Radial Tire (AOR) plant located in Trenton, SC (Aiken County) is looking for a Business Assistant. The AOR plant was constructed in 2012 and currently employs approximately 500 team members .This plant produces large Off Road Radial Tires for high production mining and heavy construction equipment. AOR tires range from 9 ft -13 ft. tall and is home of the world's largest radial tire, which weighs 12,903 lbs. This position will provide department support by performing administrative, accounting, inventory control, educational, and clerical duties.

ResponsibilitiesCompile and analyze data for generation of weekly and monthly reports and graphs.Maintain department records.Educate team members on use of personal computer and purchasing procedures. Provide guidance on company policy. Coordinate the distribution and tracking of One Point Lessons.Perform various clerical duties including mail, phones and correspondences.Order and maintain all supplies based on budget information.Maintain Standard Practice, document control and business plan.Monitor, maintain and assist in the development of budget information.Interact with Purchasing, Accounting, HR and other operation departments.Coordinate interdepartmental and departmental oriented meetings.Update Process Control Plan and Working Standards.Perform plant-wide and departmental internal audits to aid in meeting TS16949/QS900/ISO14001 compliance.Develop and maintain various tracking systems (One-point Lessons, certification status, organizational charts, etc.).Facilitate the flow of information and goal status to various support personnel and production team members.Various duties as assigned by area
Required: 3 years of administrative/clerical experience with proficient computer skills
Preferred: Associates Degree in Business or related field and 1 year of clerical experience with proficient computer skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
